For its unit Information Systems located in Hoboken (Belgium), Umicore is currently looking for a SAP Basis Team Lead
You provide leadership and direction to a technical SAP Basis team, responsible for multiple SAP landscapes and project support, delivering customer service and execution of the department's strategic operating plan. You ensure the professional management of all sourced SAP services.
Responsibilities:
- You establish a high quality support for a heterogeneous SAP landscape in a sourced environment.
- You manage the day to day SAP Basis operations, coach a team of both internal and external resources. You ensure effective security, operation and peak performance of SAP environments.
- You provide excellent technical support for complex SAP implementations, upgrades and functional projects.
- You are responsible for the development, maintenance and testing of contingency plans to meet the IT organisational goals.
- You manage the operational terms of the SAP global reporting sourcing contract. You make sure that it is aligned with Umicore needs at all times. You continuously and objectively evaluate the services delivered and measure and rank delivery of service levels. You deliver budget and actual cost input for SAP sourcing services.
- You are responsible for the recommendation of required improvements to SAP environments. You assure technical ability allowing proper and constructive management of all SAP services. You participate in training and knowledge transfer to new employees.
Profile:
- You have a university degree in information technology or equivalent by experience.
- You have excellent Basis Administration skills in ECC 6.0 and previous SAP releases.
- You have technical experience in managing XI, SRM. Experience in Solution Manager environment is an asset.
- You are fluent in English and Dutch, knowledge of French and/or German is an asset.
- You are a team player and an excellent people manager / coach.
- You are an efficient communicator.
- You are internationally oriented and willing to travel.
