We are looking for a long term SAP BI functional consultant on a permanent basis.

JOB DESCRIPTION :
Status SAP:
- Ca 1500 SAP end users worldwide on one instance ; release MySAP ERP 2004 ECC 5.0 ; modules FI CO SD MM PP WM PS HR ESS ; BI 7.0.
- Also Industry Solutions Automotive & Mill (DIMP), FSCM.
- Interface applications like OpenText (formerly IXOS) document archiving, etc ...
- Office in East Flanders, Belgium = central Group IT office and the Competence Centre SAP of the group.
- Ca 35 internal colleagues SAP consultants in Belgium.
- Virtual organisation second line support (ca 10 colleagues).
Tasks
- Responsible to identify, analyse and standardise management and operational reporting requirements across several divisions of the company.
- Translate these into a consistent and efficient data model and by managing a team of 2 assistants, to extract and aggregate data and build compliant reports to cover these requirements.
- Carry responsibility for the full implementation process from design, implementation, testing up to and including user training, support and system monitoring and tuning.
- Acquire not only an in-depth knowledge of the BI system but also the business processes of the company and the set-up of the financial and logistic systems that drive them.
- Manage a team of 2 assistants, who take care of :
- front-end support and basis BW
- data extraction from SAP ECC.
JOB PROFILE :
- Strong SAP BW experience (preferably SAP BI 7.0) i.e. design, full project life cycles in a mix of projects and support at least 4 years.
- Knowledge of SAP portal is an asset, also knowledge of elements of SAP ERP applications (FI, CO, SD, PP, MM) is an asset.
- University degree (or similar qualifications through experience) that forms a sound basis for management (master engineering, economics, ...).
- Experience in SAP ECC query development.
- Experience in coordination of SAP projects and/or support is an asset.
- Languages = English, Dutch. French, German & Spanish is an asset.
- Good personal skill in communication, coordination, change management, ... is a strong asset.
- Analytical and pragmatic approach.
- A creative problem solving ability.
- Pro-active, customer-oriented and result-driven.
- Stress-resistant, self-motivated and teamplayer.
- Occasional travelling.
