Your Role:
In order to re-enforce the Distributed development and maintenance team, we are looking for an experienced analyst-programmers specialised in distributed systems.
- Member of the Distributed development and maintenance team.
- Independently develop and test the new or modified applications, in line with the Euroclear Design and coding guidelines
- Highly flexible and open minded to align his/her way of programming to the strong guidelines of the company.
- Re-enforce the overall application expertise level in the Distributed development and maintenance team (see remark about a previous experience in EB)
- Periodically ensure the support of the applications delivered in production (Hot line role)
- The team is currently involved in the migration of the system to a .NET environment. This migration will be completed end of 2011. He/she will insure that these activities are executed within the agreed planning and budget, and will continuously stay focused on building high quality products.

Your Profile:
You are Distributed Systems oriented.
Your experience in the following is essential:
- Object Oriented programming
- VB.6, VB script, VB.net, VBA
- SQL server
- COM, DCOM
- Windows 2003, Windows XP
Your experience in the following is desired but not a blocking factor:
- java script
- MQ Series
- XML, XSL
- .NET framework 2.0
- ADO.net
- ASP.net
- DTS/SSIS
Some additional aspects that are considered as a plus:
- Active directory
- Documentum
- Datawarehousing
- Clearcase
- Past experience in the Financial world
