Technical Architecture/ Infrastructure Consultant (m/f)

Your position

We are currently seeking one Technical consultant to support our IT team into managing the analyze and design phases of some system Changes, related to Data Centre operations architecture for remote management of IT System located in a remote Datacenter.

This position will be responsible of the analyze and the design phases on system changes related to IT Remote Management, Security and Network operations enhancements. We are in need of an individual that can understand client requirements and provide solutions blueprint first, and detailed design deliverable after. This position will be responsible for also for presents and discuss design towards client personnel, and validate with them agreed solutions. The individual applying for this position must be highly motivated.

Functions and skills of this position include:

• Windows 2003 remote administration architecture;
• <!--[endif]-->AIX (or Unix) and Linux system remote administration architecture;
• <!--[endif]-->Scripting skills (Perl, minimum shell and batch);
• <!--[endif]-->Data Centre remote access to IT devices and file distribution architecture/infrastructure;
• <!--[endif]-->Data Centre security administration;
• <!--[endif]-->Network Device administration.

Qualifications

Key Competencies Required:

• <!--[endif]-->Excellent communication skills, both written and oral English;
• <!--[endif]-->Strong customer orientation, and communication skills in requirements gathering and analysis with client team members;
• <!--[endif]-->Strong design capabilities on identify solutions and estimate impact on current system and implementation efforts;
• <!--[endif]-->Motivated to perform effectively/efficiently in a high work volume environment both individually and as part of a diverse team;
• <!--[endif]-->Ability to adapt well in a changing environment. Flexible and non-judgmental;
• <!--[endif]-->Posses highly developed attention to details and skills necessary to document client deliverables;
• <!--[endif]-->Posses a high degree of self-motivation and the ability to motivate a technical team to meet deadlines and deliverables;
• <!--[endif]-->Posses the ability to communicate highly technical concepts to non-technical audiences via effective proposals, reports, written communication and oral presentations.

Technical Skills:

• <!--[endif]-->Ability to read, analyze and summarize client needs into requirements and solution blueprints;
• <!--[endif]-->Ability to define problems, collects data, establish facts and draw conclusions;
• <!--[endif]-->Ability to analyze solutions' options, including pros and cons and present it to client;
• <!--[endif]-->Ability to document technical information into design structured deliverables;
• <!--[endif]-->Knowledge of project management principles and methodologies;
• <!--[endif]-->Technical knowledge on Data Centre IT remote operations architecture and infrastructure, including aspect of network and security administration.

Education and Experience:

• <!--[endif]-->4+ years MS Degree from accredited institution on IT Technology.
• <!--[endif]-->Minimum of 3 years relevant work experience required.
• <!--[endif]-->Fluent in French and English
