Manage one project with 3 researchers
Research on decentralized self-adaptive systems
Achievements:* Designed and implemented a unique novel approach with combination of IBM ILog Jrule as well as SPSS analysis tool* This prototype I developed achieved 3 times more accurate, 100 times less false positive and 1000 times faster than our client existing solutions.* Represented IBM Belgium for the competition of IBM Extreme Blue Congress hold in Netherlands and won great interests * Get familiar with big company's work process and build strong team work capabilities, as we often worked with people we never meet* My work win the appreciation of IBM general manager Bart Van Den Meersche appreciation and my technical mentor , Karl De Backer, voluntary to give reference
Achievements:
Analyzed technical difficulties and come out novel ideas to solve problem. Good communication skills as well as teamwork capability is of great requirements as each project normally has more than 6 partners from different institutions or countries. Deep understanding of component-based development as well as service-oriented architecture for ubiquitous systems. Have more than 4 years experience of Eclipse programming (Java) and OSGi platform. Mentoring one master student and four bachelor student's thesis: Apply research platform into autonomous robot control. With great patients and teaching skills, this master student I supervised won the highest mark among all master students in that year. A PATENT application for adaptive software architecture for ubiquitous and autonomic computing Our business ideas - Transformer , is selected as IBBT incubation projects, worked with IMEC business director and professionals in KuLeuven for a business success. It is a software architecture solution for home automation platform Authored 2 high quality Journal papers and 9 conference papers in 4 years. European Project ARFELX was assessed by European commissioner as one of the best project that she even seen.
