DataCenter Manager is looking for a new chalenge

At the age of 47, and being a Datacenter manager for 6 years in a company with over 2500 employees I am looking for a new challenge in a new company. Working in the ICT world for more than 21 years I have build up a huge experience going from Mainframe in the beginning towards complete Client/server environments. In the last 6 years I did a number of projects on Storage consolidation, Server Consolidation, Server virtualization and many more. Not only delivering the technical strategy, but also the financial impact for the future.

2000 -	DataCenter Manager
I started at Deloitte in 2000 as a Database Administrator. After 4 years I accepted the job as a DataCenter Manager. My main responsabillity whas to manage a team of 6 System Engineers to guarantee service availlabillity for the firm. In those 6 years I have build up a lot off verry good relationships with service providers like HP, IBM, NetApp, Nortel, F5, Microsoft. In those 6 years I did projects on Server consolidation (Centralize IT infrastructure from 11 locations into 2 DataCenters Active/Active). Server Virtualization (HA and DR between 2 DataCenters). Storage virtualization (better management of storage, Data Deduplication, Thin provisioning). Backup/Restore startegy (Backup to Disk to Tape, to get better Restore performances). Project management, Budget management, defining the IT Strategy. A huge project we did the last year whas the implementation of OCS (Office Communication System), in which we where able to decommissioning all our Pabx's and get our Telephony completely on OCS (IP-Voice). With this we where able to decrease our�fixed phone cost, but at the same time give our employees all the tools they need to collaborate internally and with clients. Also the impact on conference and video�conferences where huge. We where one of the first companies that migrated to OCS completely, in close collaboration with Microsoft.
1996 - 1998	ICT Engineer
Worked at Axent information as an Consultant. Main projects where at Electrabel as an DBA Administrator and SMS administrator. Did a project at P&G for the year 2000 migration.
1986 - 1998	ICT engineer
ICT engineer at Volkswagen (Vorst). Was responsible for the Microsoft environment (file services, Software distribution, PC imaging. Also did a project on Thin Client provisioning by using Citrix and IBM thin Clients.
