2007 - 2009   Project Expert
  • Setting (e)HR program back on the rails and turnaround negative perception into a positive one.  Management of various (HR) applications (+/- 15 different applications) and evolution towards integrated environment.  Shortening release cycles from 18 months into 4-5 months.  Responsibility for budget & planning, participating in the executive (direction) committees and steerings...
  • Continuous alignment with the various business units and internal customers and ICT using the solid principles of Service Delivery / Support (ITIL) and Project Management.
  • Follow-up of business analysts / Quality Assurance / Coaching project team members by introducing more structured analysis methodology and project approach using AGILE development (SCRUM).
  • Improvement of various documentations and training set-up towards end users / Presentations and information sessions.
  • Guiding rollout of new modules towards thousands of employees/end users.

 

Population in scope for HR are approximately 36.000 employees.

2002 - 2006   Business Unit Manager, Products & e-HR solutions
  • Redefined Strategy & Business development of ARINSO's Products & e-HR Solutions (SAP HR add on tools + ESS/MSS scenarios) reporting directly to the CEO.
  • Expansion of product suite (different SAP HR add-ons and e-HR Solutions) including web enablement of tools, established new and maintained partnerships/alliances with third party providers.
  • Direct responsibility for International key accounts (customers with 15.000+ employees)
  • I worked together with the international ARINSO sales & delivery team to optimise the product offering.  This also involved answering RFPs, ensuring the proper sales and promotional deliverables were in place (printed and web materials), giving on-site & (internet) presentations, organising events and so on. Introduction of SPOC for support operations and follow-up of the development team (+15 FTEs) which was centrally located in Brussels. 
  • As a Business Unit Manager I also participated in large customer implementations throughout the world (as executive partner) with responsibility of the project budget of which below a few examples are provided:
    • IKEA - global lead e-Recruitment (BrassRing) implementation - 1 year project
    • TETRAPAK - global e-Recruitment implementation - 5 months project
  •  

  • Responsibility for eHR Consultants and Business Warehouse Consultants.
  • This function included frequent travelling all over the globe for presentations, negotiations at VP level and visiting ARINSO' subsidiaries in 26 countries.
  • Major accomplishment was increasing revenue of the business unit with 300% and achieving a 22% EBIT.
2000 - 2002   Chief Operations Officer
  • Co-founder of this dot-com company, counting 13 co-workers of which a number of free-lancers...  As co-founder, I helped with the business development, recruitment of team members, VC negotiation, purchase & supplier selection... 
  • I was responsible for EasyToRecruit's original functional, logical & technical design.  With the purpose of being a real Software as a Service solution based on the latest Internet standards. 
  • Set-up of infrastructure for hosting.
  • Starting the team of developers (9 FTEs), I defined the Project (PMI) & Development methodology (QRPD).  Managed the day-to-day project follow-up, testing & assistance with the implementation at the customer's sites.  Pre- and after sales.  I designed and set-up the Configuration Management, Version Control and Quality Assurance.
  • I am currently still a shareholder of HR-Technologies.
